University degree in Public Relations or Business Administration or Communication or Marketing from reputed universities; Masters Degree is a plus.
Having around 10-15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in communications or public relations or marketing and communications as Public Relations Manager/Director or PR & Communication Manager/Director or Marketing Manager/Director (overseeing PR & Communication) or related, ideally within an academic institution in Lebanon or PR & Communication or Advertising Agency.
Will propose an integrated strategic Communications and Public Relations plan covering all key marketing, public relations, web and social media elements. Will develop and implement both external and internal PR and Communications strategy. Plan, manage and implement all aspects of the Institution’s strategic branding, public relations, marketing and communications program, yearly events and activities calendar. Will disseminate the institution’s news to the media; develop and implement public relations activities to promote the institution’s mission. Design, produce, and contribute to the production of various print and electronic public relations materials. Lead, develop and supervise the staff of the Media and Communications Office.
Attention to details, excellent proofreading skills; flexible and able to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment; proactive; strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills, connections and network; strong organizational skills; able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Fluent in Arabic, English. French is a plus.
Proficiency in software that is needed for responsibilities.
