In-house Lawyer

University degree in Law from well reputed universities in Lebanon or abroad. A Master’s degree in Law from a reputable university.

Having 8-10 years of professional substantial legal experience as In-House Counsel or lawyer within a financial services company or bank or at an independent law firm with strong transactional expertise in financial services sector (such as asset management, financings, M&A, private equity deals, etc.).

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in financial services industry is required. Thorough knowledge and experience of Lebanon laws and regulations.


Will be responsible of:

Advising senior management on all matters which may have legal ramifications.

Drafting and negotiating agreements relevant to investments across a range of highly diversified assets.

Reviewing investment agreements, contracts, proposals, memorandum of understanding, and all other contractual documentation related to operations, funds and investments to ensure they are legally sound and compliant prior to execution.

Drafting, reviewing, and developing standard contract forms and clauses and undertaking the necessary modifications to these on an ongoing basis.

Advising on the interpretation of laws and regulations in various countries, monitoring any amendments to them, and updating the business on the implications of such and ensuring that the client’s activities at all times conform with applicable legislation in multiple jurisdictions.
